By electing to receive services through Alinea Invest, Inc. (“Alinea,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to pay all applicable fees associated with your use of the platform, including the Alinea Fee, in accordance with these Payment Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) and any applicable Advisory Agreement.
1. Fees and Billing Cadence
You agree to pay all fees associated with the applicable platform services. Fees are generally charged on a yearly basis in advance; however, Alinea may, in its sole discretion, offer, apply, or require alternative billing cadences (including, but not limited to, monthly, quarterly, or other intervals).
Alinea reserves the right, at any time and in its sole discretion, to determine, modify, or change the billing cadence, structure, timing, and applicable fees for any user, including transitioning users between billing cadences or pricing structures.
All fees are disclosed on the Alinea website (www.alinea-invest.com), within the platform, and/or in the Advisory Agreement, and may be updated from time to time. Alinea will provide notice of material changes as required by applicable law. Continued use of the services constitutes acceptance of any updated fees.
Alinea may, in its sole discretion, waive, discount, or modify fees for any user at any time without obligation to offer similar terms to other users.
2. Authorization for Recurring Charges
By enrolling in a paid service, you authorize Alinea to charge any eligible payment method associated with your account on a recurring basis, in accordance with the applicable billing cadence, without further authorization.
Charges may be submitted periodically (including yearly, monthly, or otherwise) until you cancel your service. You agree that cancellation requests or payment method updates may not affect charges submitted before Alinea has had a reasonable opportunity to process such requests.
3. Payment Methods
Alinea may charge your Alinea Fee from any eligible payment method associated with your account, including your Alinea Account and/or your linked Funding Account, regardless of billing cadence.
Alinea generally deducts fees from available cash balances; however, you authorize Alinea to take reasonable actions to facilitate payment, including liquidating assets in your Alinea Account where permitted by law and applicable agreements.
If any payment method is declined, you agree to promptly provide an alternative valid payment method. Alinea reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate access to services if payment cannot be successfully processed.
4. Annual Billing (Where Applicable)
Where a yearly billing cadence applies, you agree to prepay the applicable Alinea Fee in full for the applicable period at the then-current rate. Unless otherwise specified, such subscriptions may automatically renew for successive periods at the then-current rate.
5. Failed Payments and Billing Adjustments
If any payment attempt is unsuccessful for any reason (including insufficient funds or payment method failure), Alinea may, in its sole discretion and without limitation:
- Reattempt to process the applicable fee at any time;
- Charge alternative payment methods associated with your account;
- Adjust, change, or convert your billing cadence or subscription plan (including to a different pricing structure or billing interval);
- Suspend, restrict, or terminate access to services until payment is successfully completed.
Any billing adjustment or action may take effect immediately or at a future billing date, as determined by Alinea.
Alinea does not guarantee that any specific billing cadence, pricing structure, or promotional rate will remain available.
6. Account Closure and Refunds
You may cancel your service or close your account at any time by contacting customer support or emailing info@alinea-invest.com.
Except where required by applicable law, all fees are non-refundable once charged. In limited circumstances where Alinea elects or is required to provide a refund, such refund (if any) will be calculated at Alinea’s discretion or as required by law.
Cancellation of services does not relieve you of any obligation to pay fees already incurred or charged.
Alinea reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts at any time, subject to applicable law.
7. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining accurate billing and contact information and ensuring that your payment methods remain valid and sufficiently funded.
Failure to maintain valid payment information may result in declined charges, billing adjustments, service interruptions, or account restrictions.
8. Notifications
Alinea may provide billing-related communications, including failed payment notices, billing adjustments, and fee changes, via email, in-app notifications, or other reasonable means.
You agree that such communications satisfy any applicable notice requirements.
9. Acknowledgment
By using Alinea’s services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Payment Terms & Conditions.
